Maryam Sheikh [she/her]

Maryam is a JD/MA (Philosophy) student at Osgoode Hall Law School. She holds an Honours BA in Justice, Political Philosophy, and Law with a minor in Community Engagement from McMaster University. During undergrad, she held leadership roles on McMaster’s varsity moot team, student government, and her program’s society. She has worked on community projects with several organizations, including Mishka Social Services, Urban Minds, CityLAB Hamilton, and the Hub Hamilton. At Osgoode, she is exploring interests in health ethics and policy as well as privacy law.
Maryam’s drive to build strong, sustainable, and inclusive communities shapes her approach to learning and engagement with academia, research, work, and community service. In her free time, you can find her exploring new trails, running, or reading a memoir.
