Fora evaluates the 2025 federal budget through its young feminist economy framework, finding real wins alongside real gaps. Stable five-year funding for Women and Gender Equality Canada is a genuine victory, but youth employment still gets less than a billion dollars out of $141.4 billion in new spending, and gender-marginalized youth remain scarcely represented among the budget's expected beneficiaries.

Fora responds to the federal government's announcement of $660.5 million in gender equality funding over five years, calling it a direct result of sustained advocacy by Fora and other feminist organizations against funding cuts.
