Emin Nawaz is a Policy Analyst at Health Canada’s Climate Change and Health Office, where she supports national efforts to prepare for and respond to the health impacts of climate change. With experience spanning government, academia, and grassroots sectors, she is committed to advancing inclusive, evidence-informed policies and programs that promote equity, sustainability, and community well-being.
Emin holds a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Global Health from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She brings a collaborative and people-centered approach to her work, focusing on strengthening partnerships, driving strategic progress, and fostering equitable outcomes.
Passionate about community building and mentorship, Emin has contributed to a range of initiatives focused on leadership development, youth empowerment, and social impact. Her work has been recognized with several honours, including the Assistant Deputy Minister Award of Excellence at Health Canada and the Wilfrid Laurier University Young Alumni of the Year Award.
