Aastha Goyal is the Student Engagement Manager at Good & Well, where she leads initiatives to engage students in building a more equitable and sustainable market. Her professional background includes risk consulting at KPMG, engineering consulting with a focus on sustainability at Hatch, and research with the Energy, Mining, and Environment team at the National Research Council of Canada. Aastha holds a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from McGill University, where she was a McCall MacBain Scholar, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
Passionate about education and sustainability, Aastha’s master’s thesis focused on the development of photocatalytic cells for sustainable energy solutions, and her research has been published in academic journals. She has also served as President of the Engineering Undergraduate Society at McGill University and as Board Director and Chief of Staff at Youth Engagement Through Engineering, a nonprofit based in Montreal. Additionally, Aastha was a teaching assistant for various math courses for engineering students during her undergraduate studies. In her spare time, Aastha enjoys playing volleyball and badminton, learning new cuisines, and solving puzzles.
