Amber Louise Culley has been a part of initiatives involving mental health, food sovereignty, land stewardship, self-sufficiency, women and gender rights, peacemaking and anti-violence, migrant and conflict justice, Indigenous rights, environmental justice, access to education, housing rights, disability justice, restorative justice, and supporting children and youth from situations of adverse childhood experiences.
Amber aims to become a Canadian politician, Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and Certified Psychospiritual Therapist (CPT). These roles will be utilized to come to an intersection between passions of social justice, leadership and community care. Experience that Amber possesses includes acting as a Board Member and Staff Liaison for the Students Public Interest Research Group and working to address many social justice topics, working as a Programs Facilitator for Future of Africa in Ghana, taking part in decision-making and interviewing processes within an organization advocating for access to education, serving as an Inaugural Youth Council Member of the King's Trust Canada, serving as a Student Representative for the Religion & Culture department at Wilfrid Laurier University, acting as the Canadian representative for the UCC Great Lakes Collaborative, conducting mental health talks and advocacy, and more. She is currently pursuing a Double Master's in Psychotherapy & Spiritual Care and Theology.
