Aanisha is a purpose-driven investment professional with deep experience at the intersection of strategy, impact, and finance. In her professional experience, she has supports strategic acquisitioned and investments, with a focus on growth and diversification of income to expand financial access for underserved Canadians. Previously, Aanisha was part of the Investment Strategy team at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where she collaborated across private asset classes to advise on strategic markets, define impact frameworks, and originate deals in emerging themes and sectors.

Her early career spans investment banking and consulting, where she advised clients on large-scale transactions and market entry strategies across diverse industries and geographies. Aanisha holds a Master’s in Finance from McGill University and a Bachelor’s in Management Studies from the University of Delhi. Her leadership journey began early - she co-led her university’s entrepreneurship cell, launching a student-led incubation platform to support early-stage founders. She is passionate about helping organizations embed long-term impact into their strategic agendas and is excited to bring that perspective to boardrooms through Rise on Boards.
