Yasemin Erdogan [she/her]

Yasemin is passionate about working with and for children, youth and communities. With experience spanning the INGO, non-profit, and education fields, her interests lie in human-centric and systems approaches to support the healthy development, learning, and well-being of individuals and collectives. She also regularly supports organizations through strategy, operations and execution. She places great value in community building and right-holder-led development and has had the honour of learning alongside incredible grassroots groups and organizations in Canada and internationally.
Born and raised in Ankara, Turkey, Yasemin moved to Turtle Island/Canada to pursue studies at McGill University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, Human Development. Her cultural background, experience as an international student turned immigrant-settler, and identity as an older sister and daughter all shape the perspectives she brings into discourse.
