Hibaq is a multidisciplinary communicator, researcher, and community-builder with a passion for making public information accessible and meaningful. Currently, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and is the co-founder of Tech Unifies, a digital literacy initiative focused on bridging equity gaps through accessible technology education and public engagement. With experience spanning UI/UX design, tech education, and AI and information justice research, coupled with her background in the social sciences, she brings a deep understanding of how systems, language, and design shape access to opportunity.

She has worked as a web development instructor and software developer, and is currently pursuing opportunities in public service and in the non-profit sector where she can align her lived experience with her dedication to equity, transparency, and good governance. Sharply guided by her experience navigating the intersecting barriers of race, religion, and gender, she centres clarity, care, and collective empowerment. She is excited to serve on a board to contribute her skills in research, digital equity, and collaboration skills to continue building spaces where underrepresented voices shape decisions that affect their lives.
