Hoore holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction in Public Policy Co-op and International Development Studies from the University of Toronto. She also earned a U of T Global Scholar certificate in Global Development, Environment, and Health and a Public Policy Advocacy certificate from the University of Ottawa. Hoore obtained a Master of Information Degree with a specialization in Information Systems and Design from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Digital Experience Innovation Degree from the University of Waterloo.
She previously advanced humanitarian policy and practice initiatives at the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) with the Emergency Preparedness and Response unit in Rome, Italy. She also supported donor prospecting efforts at the WFP Zimbabwe Country Office as a South-South Cooperation and Partnerships Junior Professional Consultant. Hoore represented the United Nations Association in Canada as a delegate to the World Food Forum and the 67th United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She has a breadth of experience with research and partnerships for non-profit organizations. This includes intersecting thematic areas such as social impact investing, entrepreneurship, youth education, gender equity, anti-discrimination, accessibility, digital innovation, artificial intelligence ethics, and international policy.
