Women CyberSecurity Society WCS2

Vancouver | British Columbia | Hybrid

We know cyber. We are phishers of women in cybersecurity.

Women CyberSecurity Society WCS2 is a non-profit organization, founded in 2018. The idea of WCS2 originated after Lisa Kearney, CEO of WCS2 experienced bullying and harassment on the job, with no support available. WCS2 was created to fill in the gaps to raise awareness about the lack of diversity and inclusion, for women and marginalized groups across the industry. Offering supports for community though unlimited training, workshops, scholarships, and awards, aimed to make the industry more inclusive and to celebrate women’s achievements. While also bringing awareness to the challenges and issues, women and marginalized communities face. The goal is to increase diversity and inclusion, while increasing workforce skills and lowering the gender gaps within the industry.

Mission

WCS2 has the mission to advance and retain women and gender marginalized groups within the cybersecurity industry.

Vision

A diverse and inclusive cybersecurity industry.
