Fierté Sudbury Pride is a French-English Bilingual nonprofit community based organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and celebrating the 2SLGBTQ+ population of the City of Greater Sudbury. Active since 1997, and incorporated since 2012, Fierté Sudbury Pride strives to ensure the wellbeing of the 2SLGBTQ+ community by advocating on its behalf and by offering social, educational, and artistic events and programs to all.
Mission
Fierté Sudbury Pride has the mission to centre and elevate marginalized voices, and to develop and implement initiatives that create opportunities for community engagement, collaboration, inclusivity, and a deeper connection among 2S-LGBTQIA+ individuals. With the aim to provide services free of stigma and discrimination for everyone, regardless of religion, creed, race, gender, or sexual orientation.
