I'm a 2024 graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed leadership skills across diverse sectors, including nonprofit organizations, policy analysis, and accounting.

As President of Women in Leadership Laurier, I led initiatives promoting equity, empowerment, and inclusive leadership. In addition, my roles as Vice President of Finance for Her Campus Laurier and Treasury Manager for United Under Arts Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, strengthened my expertise in financial oversight and organizational governance. Professionally, I have held roles at Brattys LLP and the Ontario Ministry of Energy, where I gained experience in policy research and financial accounting. I currently work as an Associate at Segal GCSE LLP, focusing on assurance and tax.

Passionate about justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion, I am committed to fostering environments that amplify diverse voices. Fluent in English and Urdu, I bring a global perspective and collaborative approach to leadership. I look forward to contributing my skills and values to a governance board and growing as a Young Director through the Rise on Boards+ program.
