Christina Luo [she/her]

Rise on Boards | Cohort 9

Christina has served as Chair on Plan International Canada’s Youth Advisory Council and the Women and Co-Chair of the Government of Canada’s National Youth Working Group on Gender Equality. While at Plan, she helped design and implement several multi-year initiatives, including Girls Belong Here and Youth for Gender Equality, Canada’s first youth-led UN SDG implementation plan.

Christina has been a member of the UN youth working groups on economic empowerment and gender equality and was a delegate at the 61st United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She has advised on global youth advocacy strategies and is passionate about removing barriers to awareness and access to decision-making spaces for young people. Christina works in financial services with experience across strategy and operations and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta.
