Ayana works as a software engineer in the e-commerce space, with previous product management and UI/UX design experience at an early-stage HR-tech startup.

In the past, she's worked with local and regional community organizations and volunteer committees to build platforms and organize events for hundreds of youth to engage in STEM education and the arts (including hackathons, arts conferences, coding mentorship programs, literary anthologies, and poetry slams).

Ayana is deeply interested in building harmonious urban communities. She's currently learning about: mutual aid networks, technical solutions for traffic/transit management, and effective models of affordable housing.
