Léandre is an emerging leader guided by values of empathy, curiosity, community wellbeing and ancestral wisdom. Over the last eight years, she has exercised her leadership through multi-sectoral experience in education, youth development and philanthropy. Léandre has worked for Women and Gender Equality Canada, Pathways to Education, Canadian Association for Girls in Science, and the Rideau Hall Foundation where she has built partnerships, scaled programs, supported research and/or community engagement efforts. In each of her roles, she has strived to center and amplify the voices of historically marginalized groups in Canada.

In her current role as Partnerships Manager for the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF), Léandre mobilizes financial resources for racial equity. Racial equity, gender equity and youth wellbeing are key themes that fuel her work. She advances on these themes as a member of the Michaëlle Jean Foundation’s Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) and as an active part of her community. Léandre holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Master of Science in Strategic Sustainable Leadership from Blekinge Institute of Technology. She resides in Tiohtià:ke (Montreal), traditional lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation where is grateful to live, learn, work, create and play.
