TOOLKIT: MODULE 3
Pathways Forward
Turning reflection into strategy.
In this final module, you’ll bring together everything you’ve explored so far—and translate it into an actionable plan for your board. This is about identifying the most important steps your organization can take to move toward more equitable, inclusive, and future-ready governance.
This activity is designed to help you name your priorities, set realistic timelines, and build accountability into your next year of board leadership.

MODULE 3.1
Build Your Board’s Inclusive Governance Action Plan
When boards include a wide range of voices — especially those who have been historically excluded — it helps organizations make decisions that reflects the communities they serve, while also giving them the capacity to respond to the needs of the moment.
Use the prompts below to identify key areas of growth and create a plan that supports the inclusion of gender-marginalized youth on your board. You may want to do this individually, or with a small working group.
To begin, we will assess using this quiz.
