Rosa Fragomeni [she/her]

Rosa Fragomeni is an emerging leader at the intersection of sustainable entrepreneurship, and community-driven impact. She is the founder of Trees of Life, an eco-burial service transforming traditional end-of-life practices into urban reforestation and climate adaptation opportunities. Rosa is actively engaged in policy and youth advocacy through her roles at the United Nations and with the Youth Climate Advisory Committee with the City of Mississauga, where she has contributed to global climate adaptation efforts and led e-learning initiatives.

Currently completing her Bachelors of Science at the University of Toronto with a major in Environmental Science and minors in Anthropology and Business, Rosa has received multiple leadership awards recognizing her commitment to innovation and equity. As Co-President of the Student Association for Geography and the Environment (SAGE), she has led cross-sector partnerships and secured funding for climate-focused student initiatives.

Rosa is passionate about reimagining systems through ethical leadership and inclusive governance. She seeks to amplify diverse voices in decision-making spaces and views Rise on Boards as an opportunity to deepen her governance knowledge, grow as a responsible leader in the entrepreneur space, and translate her entrepreneurial and advocacy experiences into board-level impact.
