Malika Alexandrine Ouedraogo, Environmental Scientist & Equity-Centred Leader. Malika Ouedraogo is a solutions-oriented environmental scientist with a passion for transforming technical research into equitable environmental solutions. Her expertise in aquatic toxicology and community-engaged science informs her unique approach to bridging gaps between research institutions and the communities they serve. With fluency in both English and French, Malika excels at translating complex scientific concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

Her collaborative leadership style has been honed through mentoring emerging scientists, designing inclusive educational programs, and facilitating cross-sector dialogues on environmental justice. Now transitioning into governance roles, Malika is particularly interested in how boards can center both scientific rigour and community wisdom in decision-making. She brings to the table her technical background, intercultural communication skills, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring environmental solutions uplift the most vulnerable.
