Audrey Kim [she/her]

Rise on Boards | Cohort 9

Audrey Kim (she/her/hers) is a first-generation Korean Canadian committed to making her adopted home a healthier and better community for all. Excluding the five years she spent in Edmonton while attending the University of Alberta for her Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health, Audrey has spent more than half her life in Mohkinstsis (Calgary), arguably one of the most scenic and beautiful cities in Canada, with the Rocky Mountains on the west and the rolling prairies in the east.

Audrey has built a dynamic career spanning several industries, including research, public service, and consulting, and she now leads evaluation efforts for multimillion-dollar projects at a pan-Canadian organization. From the moment she first set foot in the Prairies in 2009, Audrey has spent many years volunteering with nonprofits and communities across Canada, including remote Inuit communities in the Arctic.

Audrey has no intention to stop working with youth leaders and changemakers to create spaces for young voices. She is currently founding a local nonprofit to drive collective action to address community issues close to her heart. Her professional interests are dynamic and constantly evolving, with current interests focused on cost-inclusive evaluations (e.g., economic evaluation, SROI), ESG/CSR, and climate change/sustainability.
